Steps to create a good resume:
- Be brief, concise and direct. Your resume should not exceed one or two pages at most.
- Use a white paper or light colored, format, quality DinA4.
- Write in a legible and presented for convenient reading spaced.
- Do not write it by hand, unless so required by the company. Preferably written in the computer.
- Avoid embellishments, do not abuse the colors. Use bold and leading to greater clarity.
- Respect the margins, leave space between paragraphs and write on one side of the page
- Avoid spelling errors. Hone your verbal richness, use synonyms and avoid repetitions.
- Be honest, show your best skills, show your achievements and failures makeup, but do not invent.
- The photograph you attach must be recent passport-size. Is preferably colored.
- Sell the best of yourself, but briefly, concrete and simple.
What you should avoid:
Do not write the title “My Resume” at the top, this information is already known. It is much better to lead the resume with your name, in a slightly larger body, and your personal data.
Define yourself in a clear, organized and concise. Too boring explanation who you have to hire. No salaries specify or economic objectives in the curriculum. There will be time for that.
Use standard vocabulary without technical words, pedantic or gimmicky, but without falling into the colloquial language.
It is not necessary to include references on the resume, unless specifically requested by the company.
Nor do you need the transcript. Do not indicate all seminars or courses you have attended. The curriculum space is very limited so make a selection and displays only the most significant.
